Dataset: Risk of losses in power production by hydroelectric dams (ClimWatAdapt project, 2025)
Reservoir stations are located below reservoirs and depend on the volume and on the difference in height between the source and the water's outflow. Changes in quantity and timing of river runoff, together with increased reservoir evaporation will have a number of effects on the production of hydroelectric power. As we have no information on dams and reservoirs, we analysed the impact of climate c ... (read more)
Dataset: Global Soil Organic Carbon Estimates in subsoil (30 arcsec), Mar. 2012
Global estimates of soil organic carbon stocks have been produced in the past to support the calculation of potential emissions of CO2 from the soil under scenarios of change land use/cover and climatic conditions (IPCC, 2006), but very few global estimates are presented as spatial data. For global spatial layers on soil parameters, the most recent and complete dataset is available as the Harmoniz ... (read more)
