The modelled suitability for the EUNIS habitat type is an indication of where conditions are favourable for the habitat type based on sample plot data (Braun-Blanquet database) and the Maxent software package. Die thermische Kontinentalität in °C wurde als Differenz zwischen dem Höchst- und Tiefstwert des Tagesganges der Temperatur des Jahres im untersuchten Zeitraum (1981-2010) berechnet. Die Karte zeigt die thermische Kontinentalität im Jahr auf 1000 m ü. M. Die resultierende Karte hat eine räumliche Auflösung von 25 m x 25 m. Sie wurde für die Modellierung von Vegetationshöhenstufen verwendet.
